Food Drive
The Allentown St. Patrick's Parade Committee is committed to fighting hunger in the Lehigh Valley. Donations of non-perishable food items will be collected at all parade events and along the parade route, as is tradition. We strive to help neighbors in need now more than ever!

The Parade is partnering with local businesses and the Minsi Trails Council to help collect food the day of the Parade which will be taken to Second Harvest Food Bank of the Lehigh Valley. Members of Boy Scout Troop 439 will be marching in the Parade to collect food brought to the Parade by spectators.

Brown paper bags, donated by GIANT, will be distributed door-to-door in the West End neighborhood the week before the Parade. Please help with this important cause!

Second Harvest Food Bank of the Lehigh Valley and Northeast Pennsylvania is helping thousands of people who are struggling to put food on the table throughout our six-county service area. Last year, Second Harvest distributed nearly 7 million pounds of food to our network of over 200 member agencies. Now, our member agencies are serving more than 69,000 people each month.
