We are pleased to announce that the Allentown St. Patrick's Parade will march down the streets of Allentown, Pennsylvania for a 63rd year on March 20, 2022.
The first known St. Patrick's Parade was held in Allentown in the late 1860's. Almost a century later, in 1955, what we know as the modern day Allentown St. Patrick's Day Parade was organized by business and political leaders through the St. Patrick's Day Observance Society. The Parade ran from 12th and Hamilton Streets to the Immaculate Conception Church on Ridge Avenue.
Participants should refrain from participating in and attending the parade if they have Covid-19, have experienced symptoms, know they have been exposed to COVID-19, or if they are subject to a federal or local travel or quarantine advisory.
Participants are encouraged to maintain a social distance of six (6) feet from people other than your household or group.
Masking is encouraged for all participants age two (2) and above and strongly suggested for those who are not fully vaccinated.
